Hi! Kathy here

Hi has anyone tried the 18 in 4 or the 4idiots diet? How did u do? I have 25 lbs I just gained from a med that stopped my thyroid and I would like to get some off soon. Thank you. Your input matters for those with experience with them.

kathy - I would strongly suggest you stop looking for the quick fixes and read around the stickied threads in this forum and go with what's proven to work... Use more calories than you take and make sure you're consuming a reasonable amount of calories...

Maleficent

Does that indicate you do not have experience with or knowledge of the 18 in 4 diet? Thanks for sharing what you would do.

the 18in4" is a complete waste of your time and nothing more then a scam to get into peoples wallets.

It is physically speaking fully extremely improbable to loose 18 pounds of pure fat in just four days with any type of diet/exercise program.
Do not waste your time, money, or health on that program.

Both 18in4

I ordered the diet and maintenance plan--in my moment of weakness. This is a rip off. It is nothing more than the grapefruit and hot dog diet from the 70's just another version. no carbs except low carb veggies, meat, grapefruit, tomatoes, celery etc. Basically low carb and extremely low cal. No one is likely to stick to it for 4 days yuck. and yes maybe you will lose if you are super overweight but it is likely to be water BUT I think most will cheat. It is nothing more than a super restrictive atkins plan. I am trying to get my money back now but the guy says no--he only refunds money if you try the diet and fail. I think even then he would try to talk you out of a refund. Don't waste your diet there are other fad diets to lose quick on the internet for free

Exclamation fatloss4idiots -don't waste your money

fatloss4idiots diet is yuckie-the combinations are weiird and you are not likely to stick with it. Basically high protein low carbs. But in a supplentary plan they give with it you are allowed to select more choices. It too is low carb but more likely to yield an ability to stick with it for a very very short time. The idea behind carb cycling high then low is not bad. There is a book by wendy chant cracking the fatloss code is better though. I am [spam]if you have more questions. fat loss for idiots does give you arefund if you don't like the plan. I had no prob getting my money back

+1 for diets dont work its not realistic... you have to come off it eventually...

Understanding your caloric needs and eating above or below based on your goals holds true regardless of what you eat however. It is the true key.

Wasn't the 18 in 4 silliness what caused that one thread to blow up with a bunch of posts from members with less than 5 posts? I think I eventually closed it.
