Talking Newbie from the UK and determined to get to goal!...For once!

Hi All!

I'm the closest i have ever been to goal, and need a boost to get me there!

I tend to deal better with low carb diets...i was following kimkins, but am struggling with it at the moment- i have stalled for 2 weeks now, and need to see the scale move (for the amount of effort i am putting in, the scale is not being friendly!) If i convert to Atkins i'm sure to put on weight(kimkins is far more strict!)...so i'm just adding a little more variety daily, and keeping up with the exercise and water drinking!

I go to Kenya for 2 weeks in 19 days time and i would love to see a few more lbs off by then.

My partner Jimmy and i would love to start a family, but i need to be at goal before then, so that is what i'm working towards.

Coralie

Welcome to the forum! If I were you (and I have quite a bit of experience with low-carb dieting), I would eat a crap load of carbs for a day or two. This should jolt your system, and help you lose weight when you go back to the low-carb eating. As for your exercising, try making it more intensive. Best wishes!
