Hi Everyone-

I never thought I would get to this point where I felt like I would need some serious help!

My name is Natalie. I am a 23 year old Navy wife and mother to a very active 2 year old little boy. I am a working mom too!

I have always battled the BULGE. In high school I was active but always a bit THICKER than the other girls. After having my son, I put on 30lbs. I lost it by the time he was 8 months old. NOW, 2.5 years later I've put it all back on plus an extra 20lbs.

I am only 5'3" and I weigh 199lbs. I have only told one other person how much I weigh and the thought makes me want to cry. I dont know how it got this bad.

I need help!!!!!! I'm so scared of losing my husband due to my weight gain. I used to be so confident and now I hide. I hate having pictures taken when I used to be a camera HOG!

I hope I can find the help and support here that i need!

All of my weight was put on because of being pregnant too.

I'm not a Navy wife but I am an Army wife so I know a little bit about how hard it is being a wife to a military man. Like you I also gained weight during my pregnancy only to have lost it all about 8 months after having him then only to gain it back plus more. I to often find myself 'hiding away' ashamed of my wibble, ill wear an extra long tshirt over my waist etc.

Try to enjoy your weight-loss journey. Im just embarking on mine. My boyfriend is helping me along the way every 10lbs i lose he treats me to a shopping trip or something bad like an ice cream. Whenever i hop on the scale and the number is lower, it makes me so happy and proud and i go put on a pretty outfit and dance around in glee ! Is your partner home to give you support and motivation?
