Rep Power: 0 | | | Another new person... Hello, My name is Heather, I've been viewing these boards for a long while now (there was problems getting the e-mail to activate my account so it took forever for me to be able to post!) I'm 17, and a senior in high school. I've been wanting to loose weight ever since I can remember. I've always been overweight, the last time i was skinny was probablly age 4. Anyway, I finally feel like I'm making some progress. So far, I've lost 18 pounds. I'm not really sure what i want my goal weight to be, all I know is I want to be skinny mini by the time i go off to college. I've never been thin, so I'm not sure what a natural, perfect weight is for me. I weigh 182 now, and am NOT huge. So, I set a goal of 130 but am starting to think since I'm not that big of a girl at 182, something like 150 may be thin, more realistic and suitable for my body type. So, After that novel I just wrote... I'm excited to get started! |

Rep Power: 34 | | | Congrats on the 18lbs lost already! Great Job! It is always a good idea to start college off on the right foot weight wise. There will be lots of late nights and lots of unhealthy food wanting to be eaten.
Good luck on your journey. You seem like you have a good idea about what would be healthy for you. How tall are you?

Congrats on losing 18 lbs already... for 5'6 a nice weight for your height usually is between 125-150 would put your bmi in the normal range for your height. So I would say go down to where you are comfortable at. This is one of the hardiest journeys your going to go on losing weight but as long as you have the willpower and support you can do it. Keep up the great work. Doing it as a senior in high school can't be easy believe me I know been there done that before.. although i was taking 10 classes my junior and senior year cause i didn't care about school when i first started high school. anyways good luck.
