Walking is a great start if you ask me. Finding a walking buddy can help to keep you motivated too. Those days that you really don't feel like going, knowing that somebody is expecting you helps keep you on track. I wish I could find a walking buddy but I live so far in the boondocks that I don't have many neighbors to begin with and none that would make a good walking buddy.

Yea i do need a workout buddy...i really don't know any of my neighboors i live in an apartment complex and people are in and out. I wish the hubby would go with me but our schedules are so different.. It would be nice to have an eliptical or tredmill

join the October Challenge..where we check out weight in every Sunday or Monday ..keeps you on track.. .holds you accountable ..and we make a great group ... to work with and play hard with ..
