Red face I'm 22, 220lbs and ready to get it started

Heeeeellllooo...I'm mikki and new, i found this site on google and thought it was amazing..the perfect support for losing weight.

Heres my story, I was pregnant with my son Niko and gave into my "cravings" of ice cream on a daily basis, felt i couldn't live without arbies roast beef sandwhiches and felt like everyday was my birthday so i ate cake haha but in the end i gained about 80lbs good googly moogly i know what your thinking but yea i started off around 170 and ended up at 250 before i had my son. When he was born i was 230 and just recently dropped 10lbs down to 220. Its so hard to stay focused on my goal of 150 some days are hard like last night my honey took me to eat at the casino buffett..yea biiig mistake. He persauded me with the promise of king crab legs mmmmm..okay anywho, i wanted to introduce myself since you will be seeing me on here trying to reach my goal!!!

Here are before pregancy and after pregnancy pictures for those who'd care to see

Grilled chicken, eggs and veggies have become new friends of mine thanks to my george forman grill! Haven't been working out too much just workout i get from my job but i did do the billy blanks tae bo last night and i could hardly get past the strecthing without sweating and aching lol But my workout goal is to start running, so i suppose walking would be a good start

Sounds like a good start, girly. If you're interested in logging your food into a calorie counter: FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal and Free Diet Plans at SparkPeople are two sites that are free and it seems a lot of people use to keep themselves on track.

Oh and don't let that Tae Bo kill you, ok? haha

Yes and i am looking foward to being able to run even 10 feet without running out of breath Natalie, Thank you for your support. I'm so glad i came across this site! and thank you for the compliment on my family. He is adorable but he is quite the handful... He even does his own stunts, no stunt double needed hahaha

I totally understand you there. I hate how my legs are rubbing together lmao
today on my walk .. I was trecking up this really steep hill and the shorts kept hiking ..can we say burn ... from the legs rubbing together ..not as bad as usual ..but enough ..lol hopefully it won't hurt tomorrow when I go walking

but I learned if I make my steps smaller and lift my legs like I am marching ..man! does it work my legs ..the cellulite ..so icky ..will be off in no time ... you know whats also good ..bike riding ..lol if you have a bike ..and your kiddo has a bike ..if he is old enough to have his own bike and ride on his own ..you two could take a mommy and baby bike ride! so cute!
I love seeing families or dads with daughters ..any combo biking together .. I think it is an excellent way to spend family time together ...

best wishes
always

O i know it!!! i am constantly pulling wedgies out at work because my fat butt gobbles them up hahaha.. yea that cellulite is a problem, a bike ride would be refreshing about now and its just now starting to cool off around here..The lil ones not quite old enough but hey if the hubby would join me that would be fun too... i think i will pop the tae bo in the dvd player tonight..

Beginning is half the battle! Nice job!

Hey there, and welcome!

I'm pretty new too, so I'm stopping in to say "hi" to other newbs. Your son is SO FREAKING CUTE! I love babies. And you're so pretty!
Oh man... I can't remember a time when my legs didn't rub together! That should be my goal. Lol. Work out until my legs stop rubbing together.
I have some taebo tapes somewhere...perhaps I should dig those out. They are a good work out! But I always feel funny working out in front of my live-in boyfriend. >.<
Good luck!

Hahaha...ditto to ShellBell! My legs have always rubbed together. Just a couple of days ago I had to buy new work pants because the whole inner thigh area had worn entirely away. Granted, I wore those pants 5 times a week for about a year and a half, but I still wish my legs' rubbing together didn't make me have to spend valuable cash on work expenses!

Shell bell- Thank you!! He is a handful but soo smart. I'm too proud! I did tae bo with my boyfriend the other day and he looked just as bad as me if not worse!! haha

StageKat- Thank you too!! I feel very welcome here, everyone has been so nice and supportive. I've been enjoying getting on here and talking with people that have similar goals as me.. every person i work with seems to be skinny

O god hahaha frinkbagel i know what you mean, it seems like all my pants are just getting thinner and thinner in the thighs i'm waiting for the most unconvenient time for them to rip haha
