Hi ya neighbor!

Welcome!

Sounds like you need to find a plan that will hold your interest and work for you..

You should be eatin' 3 healthy meals a day with 1-2 healthy small snacks.

I would for sure start a diary here and look over the club sections for exercise challenges.

It's such a great way and fun way to get started and learn from all the great people that visit here.

Welcome to the forum.

Ya know, I guess all the recent members joining the forum saying, "I've lost weight before but gained it all back" nullifies the idea of forming a habit in 30 days or whatever, lol.

But I'd be willing to bet it has more to do with their thinking going into it. I think it takes some 'mental effort' to actually form a habit. It doesn't happen automatically. Interesting topic nonetheless that doesn't have to be opened up in your intro thread!

Again, welcome.

yeah I found that I could only ever diet for a few days at a time, and never really lost any weight at all until I found a diet I enjoyed and exercise that wasn't too hard work that it put me off.

When I did I managed to stick at it and keep the weight off, so it's mainly about enjoying it and making yourself feel good.

hope this helps, Mike.
