I wanted to just post something to introduce myself. I joined this evening and am a male living in the UK. I have a medical motivation to
diet as I have sleep apnoea and even losing a few
pounds can help. I am 6 foot 4 inches tall and currently 212
pounds with a
BMI of 25.5 - so slightly overweight.
I am around 13-14
pounds lighter than I was 18 months ago but my
dieting has stalled and I have gained a few
pounds lately. I want to get back on the wagon. I would like to lose another 15
pounds and as I write this I realise that will be quite a challenge, especially in winter.
I have not yet studied this site much bit am looking for accountability - somewhere I can post my weekly weigh-in. I tried Weight Watchers but found the fact that I was the only guy off-putting.
