This probably isn't going to be news to you but I say form a workout plan first, that is crucial. The more you move and burn
calories the less likely you are to sabatoge your hard work, plus you'll feel better.
As for what approach to take in regard to
nutrition, I say experiment and see what works best for you. I remember when I was 19. It was great because my
body responded much faster to exercise and
diet. Since then I've tried many different diets. I've yet to be successful at a "lifestyle change" as they say, but I'm working on it.
