Another Year... Another Resolution

My name is Chris and I’m at the ripe old age of 25.

My weight problems are very similar to a lot of other people. I have never been "thin" and for the last 7 years or so have been quite happily going through life between 12 - 15 stone. It didn't really bother me as I’ve always been quite a broad chap and hide weight well with the clothes I wear. It’s only recently that my weight has begun to spiral out of control and I’ve hit the 17 stone mark!!

My dieting history is pretty much non existent…..

About four years ago I attempted the ‘One Week Chemical Diet’ and to its credit I did lose the stone it guaranteed to lose me, however, I felt a complete wreck, my breath was awful and I had terrible ulcers.

My only other experience with dieting was about 2 years ago when I joined ‘Weight Watchers’ with a friend. At first I found the experience enjoyable as I was eating healthy and losing weight at a rapid pace, at one point I managed to lose just over a stone in two and a half weeks due to healthy eating and small amounts of exercise. However, paying the £3.95 a week (even when I was unable to make it to a class) and the rather flamboyant class teacher made me lose interest with the whole weight watcher experience.

Hopefully I can gain some great hints and tips from you guys on the site and you can help me shift this 3 stone I need to lose for a healther future.

Look forward to talking to you all,

Chris
