Red face New in need of some inspiration!!!

Hello my name is Ann. I am starting my weight loss today!!!! I always say today and end up finding some excuse to get out of it! I am in need of some motivation! I have a fast food addiction! I love wendys! This is going to be very hard for me. I just got married in October and my husband doesnt eat the healthiest either. I guess I am just looking for some motivation to get going and to keep with it!!! It's great to meet you all and thank you in advance for all of your support!

Congrats on being married and on starting a new healthy lifestyle...

It sounds like your husband will be joining you on your journey to healthy living -whic is good..

Motivation is a personal thing so you realy have to ask yourself why you want to lose weight and get healthy -it's tough for someone else to give that to you... but read around the forum -youo might find someone's story that does inspire you.

How about starting slow this week. First week: no fast food but you can have other stuff. Next week you cut all other junk food out but let yourself have one meal from Wendy's. Something like that, to wean yourself off the snacks and into your new healthy lifestyle. Sometimes if you start out slower you can work your way into it rather than thinking in terms of "all or nothing". If you screw up, GET BACK ON TRACK RIGHT AWAY! Not tomorrow, not next Monday, not next New Year's! No, as soon as you get control you start over. You dont add on another thousands of calories just cuz you screwed up once. You view that as your treat for the day and you move on.
