Hello, I'm new obviously. I am so sick of belly fat. It's the first place I gain wt. I think I have a permanent crease dividing my upper and lower abs. I HATE it!!!
I hope that by joining this forum, I will remain motivated to get rid of belly fat (not that I couldn't stand to lose in other areas) and pick up some helpful tips from others with fresh Ideas.

spend some time reading around the nutrition and exercise forums for some ideas on what to do...
and take it one change at a time...
What are your goals? what are your current stats?
Start yourself a diary - it's a way of getting support and for members to get to know you.
Just so you know, spot reducing isn't possible -weight comes on and off pretty much where it feels like... you don't get a lot of control over it -but any steps youmake towards improving health is a good thing

Thanks for the response. I'm currently around 125lbs but I'm only 5ft tall. If I gain even a little wt it is VERY noticeable. My goal is to get down to 105 again. and tone up everywhere. I joined an exercise challenge. If I can stick to that I'll be off to a good start. My main problem is that I am a sugar fiend. I'm convinced that that is the biggest reason I gain wt. Yeah the nutritional forums sound like a great idea.
thanks

I usually find that fruit is a great way to keep a sweet tooth in check. Apples and pears work great!
And yea, fat just kind of grows and shrinks on it's own accord through the body. We have no control over where it goes, where it shrinks or how it looks. We just shrink it or grow it over all. Where it is is simply a factor of genetics or surgical factors.
I also made a few free quick videos about taking the brakes from our efforts to lose weight. It's all about identifying things that can keep weight on even though we are working our tail off.
