Hello everyone. Ive been reading some of the threads. WOW you guys are inspiration!
I have been trying for years and YEARS to lose weight. Ive always been on the heavier side...never obese as they like to call it now when your only 20 or 30 lbs overweight..anyway..
I wasnt at a bad weight before I had my first daughter. I considered 170-180 a nice weight for me. I loved having the curves. I had never weighed over 200 lbs...EVER then after I had my first daughter I got over the 200 mark..and havnt been back down since. I now have a second daughter and I have reached well over 200...more like..245lbs...ahhhhhh...and I am having a hard time loseing it. I dont know what to do. I have hardly any will power in me.
I will do something for a couple days hard core..then cave..I dont know what inside me gets me to the breaking point of no return.
A couple years ago I was following the Dr Phil meal plan. I lost 28 lbs....I was very proud of myself..until I ended up getting really really sick with the flu...well...after not being able to eat for a week or two...you just want to eat EVERTHING in sight when you are able to eat again...well..thats what did it....I caved and havnt been back since...it sucks...I want to go back..and Im TRYING...I guess I have to get myself back into that mindset again.! SOOOOO
I found this place...and have been reading alot of fantastic accomplishments.....and the more I read them....the more I know I am not alone..I hope that having people around like you amazing people...I just might be able to do it again!!!!!!!!! ..
Now I just have to figure out how to find my way around here..lol..and get my weight ticker thing on..I have no clue what to do..haha..hope to talk to you all soon!!!!

oh..nevermind..I see the ticker thing haha...I guess I had to wait for it lol..

Welcome! I had a friend who did the Dr. Phil diet a few years ago, she lost a good chunk of weight that way. Are you planning to do the same plan again, or something else? Good luck!
