My name is sarah and I am 25 years old. I live in Phoenix Az. I stumbled upon this forum searching a diet.

I have been a little overweight my whole life. I decided to try the south beach diet. It worked great! If you are unaware SB diet is 3 phases. I stayed in the strictest phase for most of the time. I lost over 40 pounds in 6 months and have kept it off for almost a year. I have been working out a lot now. For about 10 months. I didnt workout one time on the SB diet! It was great. One thing at a time in my opinion. Right now I am trying the 18 in 4 just for fun. I have tried the ABS diet too but not really any luck.

I hope to learn a lot from this forum.

sounds more like a yo-yo dieter , perhaps you should look into keeping a normal diet all the time so you dont have to try all the others?

The 18 in 4 diet is the 3rd diet Ive tried since I started. I was on south beach for about a year, then tried abs diet but couldnt stick to it, so i went back to south beach. The 18 in 4 was more of a "lets see if i can actually do it" diet.
Ive had the most luck on south beach and will continue to use its principles to help keep my weight down.
