How do you do =D

I've been lurking for about a week now and thought it only fair that i introduce myself as well.

I started my adventure on Feb 6, 08 and have to say that if it wasn't for this board the first few days, i'm not sure i could have made it through!

The hardest part for me always seems to be the first week or two when i'm waiting for results. Well, it's been 10 days and i'm down 6 pounds! I don't expect to be losing so quickly in the future, water weight and all, but it was exactly the motivation i needed to continue.

I am doing this for me. I am doing this because I love my husband and want to be the healthiest that I can be for us both!

I'm tired of being described as funny and smart. I will no longer be just the chubby friend!!

Congrats on the weight-loss so far. Keep your motivations in mind, and you'll surely make it to your goal weight. I'm rooting for you!

Welcome aboard and congrats on the success so far.

When I need some motivation, I go to youtube believe it or not. I have a list of videos that light a fire under my ass that I have saved to my favorites. All I have to do is watch someone doing something I wish I could do and it's enough to get my ass in gear.

lol. yeah i'm a girl, last time i checked.

as far as d&e: i've started on my elliptical 40min a day 4 days a week and am working up to 5 or 6 days.

for eating, i've just cut out all dairy products. i'm lactose intolerant anyways. but i could never resist cheese!! YUM!!

I was mostly vegetarian to begin with, eating meat maybe once a month. so the transition to no dairy wasn't to hard.

Other than that...just water water water!
