Rep Power: 0 | | | Hello! Newbie Hi everyone, I'm new to this online stuff so bear with me. I've tried every diet in the book. Main problems I think are metabolism and willpower. I'm 52 and have already gone through menopause and things I've tried before to lose weight that worked don't now. Any suggestions? I appreciate any input.

Let's work together and try to find something that does work for you! Me, personally, I am a big fan of the 1200 cal diet. Have you tried that?? If so, maybe you can try it again, posting everything you eat and its cal's in a diary. Try that for 2 wks, and if that doesn't help, we can talk more about something else maybe??
Its your choice completely, its just a suggestion so do what makes you comfortable!
Again, welcome to our forum!! We are glad your here! |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hi I was actually on the Herbalife program for 4 weeks where you have a protein shake for breakfast and lunch and eat a healthy dinner. The shakes are 200 calories each and so you can have up to 800 cal. for dinner. I'm guess there was too much protein for me, I don't know. I will try again with eating all meals healthy and see how it works. Thanks for the input.

Rep Power: 0 | | I wish it was vanity pounds but I'm now 200 lbs. and would like to be about 160. I am only 5'5". I have tried the menopausal supplements but really haven't noticed a difference. My husband and I just purchased a bowflex and are going to start an exercise program right after Thanksgiving. Having him do it with me should help. I think having this forum will be good for me as I need a push, especially with exercise! My typical day: I work as a secretary in a school so I do alot at my desk. I have cut back on coffee, 2 cups a day now, I'm not a water drinker but am trying to drink more. I have cereal and fruit for breakfast, a salad or yogurt for lunch and most of the time a sensible supper. I think the key is exercise but I need to be motivated. Thanks for all the support and emails. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Holidays!!! Hi everyone, thanks for all the support. Well, I started using the bow flex and have been keeping to 1200 calories a day . I won't weigh myself again till Monday. Keep your fingers crossed! The holidays will be tough but watching the Biggest Loser gave me some incentive. |
