Rep Power: 8 | | | Thanks much you always give me the shot in the arm I need. I had a great weekend. I don't feel like I did too badly. I resisted baked goods at the craft fair I was in. I ate healthy pretty much all weekend. I did have pizza Saturday night. But it fit within my eating for the day. So all in all I feel pretty good. I am getting ready to go for a run. Hope I can get it in it looks like rain. Talk more later. Tina |

Rep Power: 8 | | Hello! Sounds like you are doing great! I was under the weather last week. I had some kind of stomach flu. I feel much better now. I did not get to exercise as much as I wanted but on the other hand I did not feel like eating much. So all in all I think it has evened out. Today I will do my usually run with my beautiful dog. (Love that dog!) My getting healthy has really benefited my yellow lab. She goes with me when I hike and run.
I hope you have a great week. And thanks for checking in on me from time to time. It makes it so much easier when you can connect with people going thru the same things. Tina |

Take care Tina | Holidays to make dieting difficult. I usually allow myself to eat whatever I like on the actual holiday.... But I don't keep the high calorie treats in the house. I send them home with others or portion them out and freeze them so I can't indulge in spontaneous snacking of high-cal treats. |

Rep Power: 8 | | | Thanks a bunch guys. I don't know why it is so hard for me right now. I did allot better today. My biggest problem is portion control I don't seem to feel full. I really hate that. I know in my mind the reason I am struggling is due to the fact that I have not been able to workout. When I workout I don't want to mess it up by eating crap. So the solution is simple I have to make the time to exercise. It is the most important thing you can do for yourself. But I can't seem to put myself first and just do it. I will beat this one way or the other!!! Take care Tina |

Rep Power: 0 | | "Trying" to lose weight is indeed Not Easy....
Although it sounds not too hard for many.
I have been there and done that too....and I truly know how hard it can be from the moment you start till you reach your ideal weight & physique.
It takes a lot of factors to get to your goals.
By controlling each and every one could be rather tiresome.....
And result in giving up totally!
The best way...( at least to me ) is to in-corporate them into your lifestyle and enjoy the entire process of "living the healthy way".....
Which would ultimately lead to a new "slimmer" you.....without having to dieting tortuously or with so much restrictions!
My 2 cents worth of opinion... |

Rep Power: 8 | | You are right. I have never tried to deprive myself of anything. I feel once I do it is trouble! I only want the item even more. I have enjoyed every part of my journey until now. I feel I am giving up and I hate it. Although yesterday was great I went snow shoeing and it has seemed to get me geared back up. When I exercise I really don't want to ruin it by eating something that will take that hard work away.
So thank you very much for your two cents worth it is so true. Take care Tina |

Rep Power: 5 | | hey.. its really good to know that u are so back on track
had a lousy last week.. i had one week of holiday followed by the last (and the most stressful week) of the semester which is coming up from tmrw... initially the plan was to keep eating good and working out on the free week.. so that if due to stress i miss a work out or two in the coming week its ok..
but the the plan dint go right.. with it being our yearly festival and all i ended up eating a lot for 5 days in a row..
dats bad
i've gotten back on track frm today.. but now i have to consolidate for the bad week, in days i'll be really bz in the frst place..
but it was motivating to c dat u are so focused | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
