Newbie here

Hello,
My name Is Regina. I am 25 years old and live in MA. I have been struggling with weight since I can remember. I try all different types of diet plans but I always seem to stop and go back to my old ways. I'm hoping this forum can keep me motivated and on track. I'm sick of going to the amusement park in the summer and not being able to fit on some of the rides with my little cousin. My goal is too loose 25-30lbs before the end of June.

Hey Regina.

Let me ask you this...

What's a 'diet' usually consist of for you? Meaning, how do you usually go about losing the weight when you try? And do you keep trying the same thing or do you try different 'angles of attack' when you re-try?

I have tried Weight Watcher, going to a gym, eating no starch foods. Right now I am trying to just cut back on what I eat and no going to fast food. I am also walking 1 mile everyday.

Fad diets never worked on me. What seemed to work is moderation and I could eat anything I wanted ..except fast food ..but I had to eat in moderation ... and time it with meals and what not ...

and make things at home ..instead of going out ..

but I am going out tonight ..but I only make it a once a month ritual ..u know

That is a great start. Exercising will really help, and you know the more you do, the more you will want to do. Add a little more each week and before you know it you will be walking 3 miles a day!! And yes food control is key, no more fast food!!!

Just don't give up, you can do it!!!
