CurvyGirl27 is on a distinguished road
I'm back and determined

So last time I was a member of this forum I ended up gaining some weight. It seemed the more I wrote about my goals and accomplishments, I would find the scale just not cooperating.
This time, things are different.
I know that I can lose the weight and I'm hoping that checking in here regularly will keep me motivated and feeling supported, plus offering support to others if needed.

So here's me- I'm 175 lbs, 5'5. I have a closet full of size 8 and 10 clothing that maybe one day I'll get back into!

I just got married (Feb.9) to my wonderful husband and we are both struggling with weight loss.
Our problem? Eating out! It's a huge temptation because we just hate cleaning the kitchen. So my resolution is not to eat out more than once a week and to keep our kitchen stocked with easy, healthy foods that will keep us excited to cook at home.
I also need to get back into my evening walks and break out that Total Gym.

I'm looking forward to the next few months. I'm thinking I could try to treat this like that show X-Weighted (if you haven't seen it, it's sooo inspiring!) and aim to lose 25 lbs in 6 months.

So hello everyone and I look forward to "meeting" you and supporting each other on our journeys to fitter, healthier selves

Motivation is not something you find or lose, have or don't have. It is the product of how you see yourself in the world: active or passive, effective or ineffective, powerful or victimized, normal or pathological.
