Rep Power: 0 | | | Loosing 35lbs in 5 months...possible for a 29 male?? Hello All...FYI - I just found this site and thinks it's great! The support alone that I've been reading from past threads...is awesome! Anyhow...thought I'd let you all in on what I'm trying to do...I'll be 30 years of age this August 14th and I'd like to be at 200lbs. I'm 5'11" and haven't been 200 in over 8 years or so...I'm running 2 miles a day on a treadmill, eating healthy and taking about 3-4 scoops of designers protein daily.
Is this going to be enough to loose the 35lbs??? Am I asking to much of myself? Is this bad for my skin to loose this much weigh in less then 5 months?
Ready to get my bod in shape,
GRUBALCAVA |

Rep Power: 15 | | Yes, it is possible- I would suggest not loosing more than 2 pounds a week, and not getting disappointed if you do not loose that much in the time you are looking into. It all comes in time, its a lifestyle change.
Also check out the stickies and read around the forums, I encourage you to check out the diary section and start your own.
I hope you stick around. Good Luck. |

Ready to get my bod in shape,
GRUBALCAVA | What do you think the scoops of protein are doing for you?
What is your current weight at 5'11"?
What is your exercise routine going to be besides running 2 miles a day?
And how many calories a day are you planning on taking in?
1% of your body weight a week is a realistic goal... but it's all about calories and using more calories than you take in.. Spend some time with the stickied threads and get a good base set of calories for yourself (it's NOT going to be 1200 as proclaimed by a lot of "experts")
Get yourself a good workout routine -there's lots laid out that you can do at home... in the stickied threads in the exercise forum | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
