Hi I have been registered here for a while I was a "lurker" but I guess that just changed Huh! well my story is not much different than alot of you guys on here I struggled with my weight for my whole life the only time I can remember being "happy" with my weight was when I was dating my husband I was actually 120 pounds for me that was a "MIRACLE" in its self But, then marriage and babies worked its way through life and I was no longer happy with my weight so I lost the same 100 pounds probably 20 times and i have recently been diagnosed with diabetes in Octber 07 so since then i have lost 70 or so pounds and now I am in a state of the same ols same ols and need a change of mentality I have been on no carbs and just protein and veggies and I do kempo I weight lift and do a mix of cardio I believe i have hit my brick wall though cause weight loss has began to c r e e p
I hope I make some net friends here I am happy that I have finally stopped being a "lurker" I am happy to help anyone or just chat with anyone

Hi BullDog. Wow! You've lost 70 pounds since October 07? That's fantastic! Funny, I was a lurker for awhile myself -fact is, I'm still sort of shy about stepping out around here. I, too have recently started having weight related medical issues. In my lifetime I've probably lost close to a ton I loose it, then gain it all back - usually with some extra thrown in.

You will find alot of support here. I find myself getting charged up after reading all the stories. You may want to start a journal it sometimes helps and makes up accountable for the things we do. You are doing right things you have lost. So once again welcome! Never give up this is something you can do. Best wishes Tina

Thanks so much for the support guys i really do appreciate it!!!!!! I did get my PM but, I can not send because I don't have 5 so I am sorry for not responding. I had a hard time today with all the candy!!!!!!!! The chocolate smelled sooo great!!!!! I do miss it but I am compulsive and a chocolate addict so I can't just have 1 even sugar free is addictive for me Tomorrow will be better. Again guys thanks so much for the support!!!
