I guess I should take just a few minutes to introduce myself. I've been a registered member here for a couple days now, however I never did post to the new members forum. So I will take a few minutes to introduce myself.

I'm a 25 year old female. I live in Washington state and work as a Medical Assistant. I live with my boyfriend of 3 years (who I love very much) and his son.

I've been overweight for a long time (6th grade), and I'm at my heaviest now than I have ever been. My senior year of high school I hit 238 and decided something had to change. I managed to work my way down to 178 and over the past 6 years I have gained it all back and then some. I began this summer at 258lbs and I am now down to 238 lbs, the last 4lbs of it has come off in the past week. I changed my eating habbits and have become a regular at the gym over the past week.

The way I see it, I've done it before and I can do it again. It's just now that I am dedicating myself to it. I need to do this for myself, and the people who love me.

Your right, you did it before you can do it again! Just keep thinking:
I deserve to be at my goal weight.I deserve to be at my goal weight.
I deserve to be at my goal weight.I deserve to be at my goal weight.
I deserve to be at my goal weight.I deserve to be at my goal weight.

So how is Washington? My husband wants to move out of California.
What are the pros and cons of living there?

I've been the same way, I've been overweight since 5th grade and my weight has always been varying... I know it's not healthy for me, but I'm hoping to go down and keep it down for a long time.
