Rep Power: 0 | | | Brand Spanking New. So hey there everyone..
I found this site in a rather bizzaar and probably stupid way. I was googling eating disorders, and I wanted to see if there were any blogs out there that were pro-eating disorders or whatever, because I've become so sick and fed up with my weight.
I somehow stumbled onto this forum.. which ended up being a lifesaver.. or a confidence saver, whichever.
So anyway.. a bit about myself:
I'm Jena, I'm eighteen, I was born and raised in San Diego, California, but I recently moved to New Albany, Indiana.
I'm struggling.. I'm hoping to make new friends and find a new confidence inside myself.
Hows that for heart-felt? Lol. Sorry, I'm terrible at this. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | As of right now I'm not too sure. I wanna lose at LEAST 50 by the time August rolls around, but I'm not sure thats realistic. I have huge love handles and a huge butt, lol, I just wanna get rid of those. Honestly, in some pictures it looks like they don't even belong on my body. It looks like someone photoshopped them on. Its terrible. I just have no clue where to start. |

Rep Power: 357932 | | 50lbs in 3months is a lot - generally you want to focus on 1 percent of your body weight a week -knowing some weeks might be a little more -some weeks might be less - but it's consistent behavior that you want to focus on.. and lifestyle changes... not short term diets.
You won't reach 50lbs by august but wiht new habits in place you will be a lot closer to where you want to be than you are today.. so what are you waiting for?

1) Calculate your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)
2) Using your BMR from above, calculate your daily caloric needs
3) Create an account on FitDay to keep track of what you eat and make sure that you stay within your daily caloric needs calculated above
4) Exercise |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Well none yet. I need to get a workout plan going. Its just tough because I work a lot.. and where I work doesn't exactly help my self esteem in the slightest bit. I work in a 'trendy' clothing store in the mall.. theres about a million reasons why I feel too big to be there. I wanna be able to wear a size nine, too.. rather than my 13/14s. |

Rep Power: 383 | | | as far as exercise is concerned... i invested in the leslie sansone walk slim home walking program... it was only like $15 at walmart... soo theres my cardio... i also have a $40 ministepper that i hate!!! and then some 3lb weights and 8lb weights for some simple weight lifting exercises which i also hate!!!
but im sure in three months time i will be loving every bit of it... not just the cardio... lol | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
