What more is there to say? Does that not describe 99.2% of us here? I've been at it for eighteen years but there's no end in sight. During that time I've lost over 17,000 pounds and I estimate I have about another 11,000 to go before I hit my goal weight.
I only have one sure-fire tool at my disposal: humor. I plan to use that a lot while I'm here. Hope that's okay.
Lastly, some self-pimpage: I'm the author of Why Your Last Diet Failed You and How This Book Won't Help You on Your Next One. It's a semi-autobiographical, humorous commentary on weight loss and it's not designed to help anyone. It's purely for entertainment purposes only: something sorely missing from most of the other 2,439,174 diet books on the market today.
