Rep Power: 0 | | | I think my scale is broken... I mean, really, it HAS to be. The damn thing hasn't moved from 256.8 (yes, POINT 8) for five whole days. This is getting ridiculous. I'm not half killing myself to be stuck at 256.8. And why is it (yes, I know I shouldn't begin a sentence with 'and', but the situation is that desperate) that just for changing my lifestyle, my eating habits - doing a complete turnaround - do I not get to lose 20lbs in the snap of a finger as a little bonus.. you know, an incentive. Wouldn't that make sense?

Rep Power: 357932 | | | your eating habits might be healthier now but have you reduced the amount of calories you're getting..
are you keeping track of your calories in any type of tracking program?

Rep Power: 0 | | | I'd LOVE to keep track of my calories except it just so happens that in this country (I'm currently working in Poland) it is not mandatory to put one of those food labels on everything or anything. On average, this is what I eat.. if that helps...
Breakfast: Kefir (hmm, I don't know if that's the same in English but it's like a very watery, light, natural yogurt) and a piece of fruit like banana
Snack: Light cottage cheese, small single serving package with green onions, radishes, carrots, celery
Lunch: wrap with veggies and either a small chicket cutlet or a small pork loin cutlet and finish that off with fruit (cherries, pear or tangerine -- ONE of those)
Snack: fruit or a small, light yogurt
Dinner: small bowl of musli or other similar cereal with soymilk
Oh, I also eat prunes to get some more fiber in me.
Am I messing up somewhere??

Rep Power: 357932 | | are you seeing any changes elsewhere? for instance are your clothes fitting better/looser? do you have starting measurements?
and maybe the scale really is broken...
try setting up an account at FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal or one of the 100s of other free siteso n the web.. you might get some close enoughs calorie wise to give you a general idea of what you're taking in...
Some of those items - can seem harmless but can pack a big calorie punch (wraps are one ofthose things that kill me at some places -they seem to healthy looking but the average tortilla wrap is about 500-600 calories before adding in anything to it..) but at first glance it doesn't seem that bad what you're eating...
I'd just keep going and see if your body just needs some adjustment time...
Poland huh -how cool -what brings you there?

Rep Power: 0 | | | I didn't take any measurements... I'll have to do that. Some of my pants are a bit looser so perhaps I have lost inches -- but then no weight loss? I'll check out that link and see if I can somehow figure out how many calories I'm taking in.
As far as Poland goes... well, I love to travel so I look for work in different places and then move. I'll be back in the US for a week in July, then off to the Dominican Republic and then starting work in London at the end of August. It has it's pros and cons... that's for sure. But somehow I'm addicted.
