Talking Hi! I'm Laura and i know i'm gonna need help

Hey you guys and gals,
I know that i wouldn't be writing if i didn't need help. I'm just glad that there are other people that are in my situation and have a difficult time just like me to lose the weight and keep it off. This site really gives me motivation. To see all the people that truely care about others and want to post there opinion, that kind of stuff really hits home when you need it to. BROVO! all of you!

Now a little about myself: I am Laura, I want to love life again, I want to be able to get down an dirt without getting winded first!
Nows the time to do it, and i know that i'm more ready than i've ever been.
I reside in Bakersfield, Vermont. Now i know what your thinking 'wow, booner-ville', and yea your right, but there is so much more once you get past the rednecks! the landscape is breathtaking and the hikes are unbelievable. The drive though, not to much. Breathtaking maybe-after i fill up my car with gas!

After years of unhealthy eating and 60lbs later, here i am at 219 lbs. Noticing that my middle section gets in the way now and Time to do and enjoy the real me again! and be able to cut the rug Over and Over and Over again! haha!

Now i want your help you guys and gals! How to I find the 'right' food to snack on around 2 or 3 in the afternoon that will make my stomach stop wanting to eat itself. I hate that feeling when your empty and you want to vomit.

And also, what do i do when I've aten great all day and i'm on a roll up until i get that 'runnin low on something' headace... what can i do? help!

HI Laura, I am just new on here and I will be happy to try and help you along the way as much as I can. I know I sometimes have troubles thinking of what going to eat.. I find eating more protein early in morning gets you off to a good start. I eat myself mini meals throughout the day about every two hours or so. Keeps metabloism going and keeps you stomach from eating at your backbone. These are not high calorie mini meals. Like for breakfast I start my day out sometime with just 1/2 cup low cal cottage cheese and an activa yogurt, stuff like that.

Ive found that grapes and yogurt are my favorite snack foods during the day. It seems like a cup of grapes a yogurt makes you feel less hungry and is good for you at the same time. On days when I feel extra hungry in between meals I eat a slice of bread with 1 tbsp of peanut butter on it, peanut butter is known to fill you up quick.
