I'm a 6' Native, 69 years old. I was diagnosed with diabetes with a blood sugar reading of 402 when I weighed 300#. I'm currently down to 260#. I've been stuck at this weight for 2 months although I've noticed my body seems to be looking better. I've been working out with free weights on a 24 different exercises I made up myself. I do 8 of these, 3 sets and 10 reps every other day. I also try and walk a lot although it is hard around home as we have a bear and cat problem. I'm hoping to get a treadmill. I work out of town a lot and pack dumb bells and weights with me.
I'm going to start keeping track of calories as maybe I'm getting more than I realize even though I try and watch what I need.
I've been lurking here for awhile and have learned a lot and been inspired by your stories.
Glad you joined the forum, Kiniski. Great job on the weight loss so far. You are doing a great job with your exercising plan. I agree that it would be beneficial to you to write down what you eat everday. I don't know if you've seen it yet, but there is a diary on this website for you to keep track of it all. Weight Loss Diary - Weight Loss Forum It has helped me so much and I've only been on this forum for a week!
