Rep Power: 0 | | new, but getting old! It seems the more years I add on the more I weigh. I am too focused on the number on the scale. I'd like to just be able to look in the mirror and look healthy and good. I struggle with maintaining a healthy balanced life, mainly because of my relationship to stress. I get stressed out from life. So, I lost my job, a month and a half ago...and I am now afraid that while Im looking for a job, if I dont stop sitting around, Im gonna pack on the pounds like a buffalo. I am 27, and I am not overweight, but Im not healthy either! I am 5'3" and 130 lbs. I need some encouragement to keep being healthy and be MORE healthy! I do feel fat when I see myself in pictures, and I get tempted to eat crap because Im a lil depressed in my current situation. and I make myself mad! |

Rep Power: 508464 | | I highly recommend exercise to help with your stress. It is a well-known fact that exercise reduces stress and makes you feel more energetic and happier. Doing a mix of cardio and weights will help to keep you fit and toned.
So what are you waiting for? Hop to it. Good luck with the job hunt.

Rep Power: 83523 | | I agree. I'm after losing inches more than pounds. Its good to burn off energy in the day - after a good workout you feel your mood lift, you've made a good effort for the day. I also find it easier to control my eating habits on the days I've worked out.
Welcome to your new healthy lifestyle.

Rep Power: 0 | | | When wake up every morning, put your feet on the ground and think of all the good things that have been in your life and are in your life now. Focus on the good.
Tell yourself what you are going to do today. Know that you can do it. You are in charge, and only you.
Think about that during the day..... I AM in charge.
Take everything a step at a time.
And keep telling yourself, I AM in charge.
Blessings to you.

Rep Power: 0 | | | Thanks Thanks, that really is some of my problem. I guess I havent been waking up with any purpose since I lost my job, and feel a lack of accomplishment and feel a sense of why do anything at all.
I really need to wake up thinking positively-instead of negatively every morning. |
