Newbie - In A Slump

Hello everyone. It's nice that I found this site, now if I can just stay committed to it. I am 34, 5'4" and 122. I know, that is not that big of a deal because I am in the normal range of where I should be. However, I am at my heaviest EVER and I am miserable. I am used to being 113 or thereabouts. I have been in a slump and can't seem to get out of it. I'm trying to get back into working out and eating right, but it is hard if you have been out of the routine for a while. PLEASE HELP keep me motivated and committed.

I'm going to start working with a Personal Trainer and he is currently working on a weight training and cardio plan for me, as well as my nutrition.

HI Suesieque,

welcome to the forum

You are already a huge step ahead. You contacted a personal trainer and he is going to be on your toes, so you won't have a chance to evade unless you quit. By registering for the forum you did another step. There are a lot of nice people here that like to give motivation, and receive it when necessary. Keep us posted on your progress.

Good Luck!
