So I happened to stumble across this forum with a Google and I figured what the heck - why not?
I'm a 20 year old female - and I've been struggling with my weight for as long as I can remember. In high school I was always up and down, and until the last year and a half I had been doing really well at keeping myself at about a size 18-20. My weight has completely ballooned from stress with a new job, as well as the fact that I will be married in May to an amazing guy! And admittedly I am a stress eater.
I have plenty of motivation to loose weight - my problem is I really have no support group. Much of my family has moved from WI down to NC to escape the winter weather; and what little family I have left in this state has no interest in helping me out (not to mention they live over an hour away). I'm really hoping to connect with some people who can keep me on the "straight and narrow" to my goal of looking good in my wedding dress! I'm a very realistic person - so I'm not looking for miracles, but I am looking to at least get myself healthier!
