If I could even get to 160, though, that would be spectacular.
In March I decided I was going to stop drinking soda, coffee, energy drinks, and switch to water (regular, sometimes flavored if I get sick of it), and occasionally milk.
So I’ve been soda/coffee-free for about 9 months. I’m proud of that- but I need to do better.
My eating habits are horrid; I’m currently working on fixing them. When I get up in the morning, I have to eat RIGHT AWAY or I feel very sick. I try to eat every 3-4ish hours, just something small like some grapes or carrots. So I eat about 3 meals, and 3 snacks.
I also bought one of those HappyLite boxes, because my mother has SAD- I haven’t been diagnosed with it, but chances are I have it. And if not, it’s not like the HappyLite box is going to HURT me or anything, right?
I have also just started exercising again.
I feel ashamed to say this but there really isn’t any way around it- but I am so unhealthy I cannot run for 30 minutes. Instead, I walk for 25 minutes. I hope by next week I’ll be able to walk for 30, and then the week after that maybe I’ll be able to jog.
My main concern right now is my eating habits. I eat fruits and vegetables and meats, but I’m wondering- are there any foods I should be avoiding? My mom and I decided to cut bread out of our diet, is there anything else that should go with it?
For example, I’ve heard corn is pure sugar. I don’t really eat it, though.
