Need that Bikini Body

Hi! I am around 109 pounds but my problem is my stomach and my arms which is the only problem area I have. I feel i need a a bit of Cardio which will help me ! I was into martial arts though that has helped me to a great extent i still do not have that perfect bikini body.
I have just joined to gym aswell and am cutting carbs after myafternoon meal.
MAinly targetting 45 minuted cardio, weights and abs(especiallly my sides) I am giving myself a month of regular exercise to see results.

Please do give me some relevant advice on the matter!

Start by reading the stickied threads around the forum... go to Exercise, and then on topic and of course nutrition..

and if you don't geet results after 1 month - what will you do then?

welcome =) .. but as maleficent said, make sure to look at the different sections here.

btw, am not sure how cardio will help? you seem already fit and probably have no fat left to loose. I suggest abs specific exercises is the way to go.

Wish you luck ! ^^

Hi and welcome. How tall are you and how old are you?

Also, why only a month? Do you want to have the body you desire for only a month?

I'm just saying that for the shock value. Think about it though... Fitness is a lifelong effort. The longer you stay with it, the more you learn and the better you get and look in general.

I think cardio will certainly help if you are not already doing much. Spinning is great because it burns a lot of calories. You just have to make sure you don't eat any more than you already do.

Well By a month I meant i wanted to be back into shape in a month.. Have been working out for a few years now. Was mainly doing martial arts and yoga but now focussing on the gym as aswell. I had to give an exam so did not work out for a few months.Definately not going to eat more than what i am. Trying to not have carbs after 6. SHould I restrict it to one mean only??

And I love working out Derick. But my short term goal is tuck my stomach back in

=) would be good to know how tall you are? probably easier for everyone to give you advice. also you could put your picture (minus face for privacy) if you dare .. I wouldnt
If you say you're tiny and have a bit of fat then cardio and strength work are the way to go, without forgetting to work those abs.
all the best !

Well I really think in your case a personal trainer would be best. Buy 12 sessions and use him/her 2 or 3 times per week and just tell him/her to kick your butt each workout. Not literally of course, sounds like they would have a hard time with that.

You sound like someone who would do well with some higher intensity personal training.

Good luck!

HMm.. I will do that! I already have a martial arts instructor who insists i need to completely cut my crabs and do my abs everyday plus the usual workout 5 days a week.

I will also get a personal trainer at the GYM. MY workout is a mix of martial arts and Cardio.

ANyway I am going to go spinning tomorrow. Have really bad cramps. But I'll survive.

Will keep coming in with my progress. Have finished my first week. With only 4 workout days. I need to work harder to see results Im guess.

Thank u for your advise.

I don't know about completely cutting your carbs but you can try decreasing them a little bit and see if that helps. If you are low on energy during your workouts you probably need more carbs if anything.

Good luck!

No body is perfect. However, every body can look its best. Regular exercise and low fat, low sugar eating goes a long ways in keeping your body at a healthy weight. The low-end of your BMI looks good on everybody (to check your wight every week.
