Hi all,
I just came across this site by accident as I was looking for weight loss strategies. I'm a 26 y/o female trying to lose 1 dress size (~15 lbs).
I've been working out for one month now (I already posted a concern in another category under exercise) but I just thought I'd write a little something here.
It's great to have a site like this with others working hard to lose weight, too! It will definitely keep me motivated.
I joined up yesterday and I plan to be as active on this board as I possibly can - that way, new replies to posts popping into my inbox makes it too hard to ignore all of my good intentions and healthy weight goals!
Yeah, I stumbled on over here too, and it's my new online community. It seems like a fantastic site, and the people are just super.
Are you going to start one of those nifty diaries? It seems to be a great way to stay on track. But then again, I just started mine, so what do I know
What kind of workouts are you doing?

I've started a work-out diary, but I haven't started a food diary, which I definitely need to do. I joined the gym about a month ago and ever since then I've been a regular member!
So far my workouts involve:
- 3-4 days/week of weight machines (alternating upper and lower body)
- 4 days/week, 1hr, elliptical machine
- 3 days/week of tennis or walking around the lake (2.75miles)
- Just started Pilates 2x/week for a little changeup
My eating habits are still something I need to work on. It's definitely not helping me lose any lbs! I eat out about 1 meal a day and I love Thai food! I just try to eat smaller portions, to cut back the calories. It's really hard to count calories, however, at a restaurant!
How about you? What do you do to workout and what is your diet like?
