Starting... now!

Hello all, I am excited to be here. I am here today because I am tired of being tired of my body. I sometimes have a bad attitude about doing the healthy thing. It is so much more appealing to sit and watch TV with some chips, and procrastinate. I think the weight should just go away on its own.

7 months ago I split up w/ the guy of my dreams (I'm a girl). It was my fault; I treated him badly and then ran away when I got scared. He was my work buddy for 4 years and I'm sad that I lost a friend. However, it taught me a little bit about myself and what I want in a guy, and I hope it will make me a better catch someday. Didn't someone say "no pain, no gain"?

I don't want to spend any more time feeling down and out when my life is going so well. I have a good job, good friends, and family members that are close. Now I just want to get in shape so I can rock some new clothes and tan by the pool! My goal is long term health, so I am looking to lose my bad habits. Everything feels better when you eat right and exercise, even if it is more fun at the moment to eat a donut and get drunk! Reaching a goal is one of life's joys.

I'll try to start some challenges that involve healthy habits. Till then, I am headed to the diary section. See you at the finish!
