I got my ticker from Healthy Weight Loss : Motivation, Support and Weight Loss Blogs at Extrapounds.com

I think the most important bit is to copy ALL of the bbcode.

And make sure that you get the image tags right. I think it works the same what ever the site you use. It should look like this, but with no spaces

I used the instructions for the ticker. Everytime I copy and paste the URL I get an error message. I tried it a couple times

Yes, you can make it your signature. Just go to User CP (top left hand of your screen), then to 'Edit signature' and copy and paste the code into your signature box. Make sure to use the BB code that you get, not any of the other formats, and you should be all set!
