Once you've created it, which you have...go into your User CP page (upper left corner of this page) and click edit signature. Cut and paste your ticker code into your siggie and press preview to take a look at it and save it when you're done. From then on, it'll be at the bottom of every post you make.

I had to remove mine when I put my cheerlearders in my siggie...I exceeded the BB code.

Just wondering, can anyone tell me how to update my ticker in my signature? Ive tried to double click it but nothing happens. I am so proud of the little bit of weight Ive lost I am anxious to update it.

Well you are one up on me as when I paste the code it is in more than 3 lines and it wont accept.

Click on UserCP (top left link) then click Edit Signature. Click on the image then hit your delete button to remove it. Then add the new one in by getting the BBCODE from tickerfactory (or whereever you get it from) and paste that in

k so i got the ticker thingy and i've lost 5 pounds so instead of 265 im now 260 i tried to update it and i put the info where its supposed to be but its not showing the update....?????

Make sure you clicked on your ticker, redo all of the numbers, copy the bbc code, and paste the new code in your signature?

the latest version of tickerfactory does do the automatic updates as long as you are updating on the same computer. but otherwise Kaitie's got it right

i could really use some help iv been trying to get a ticker on my posts but it wont seem to work,

i copy the bbc but when i try to save my signature it just tells me its an invalid file... how ever if i put the bbc in the address bar of a web page it works fine and takes me to my counter.

im getting very confused and annoyed with my lappy lol
can anyone tell me what im doing wrong please.

I had the same problem. I was putting the code in the wrong place. Try putting it in the big box (the one that looks like you should be typing a post in it) then hit save. I just did this earlier and it worked. Repost here to let me know if it worked for you. Good luck. :-)
