Rep Power: 0 | | Hi Everyone ~ I'm New Here (but not to weightloss) Hi guys!
My name is Sarah and I am 27yr old. I am 5'1" and weigh approx 145 (haven't weighed myself in awhile..depressing) and I want to get down to 110.
I am doing exercise, eating right etc. to get this off...and I am promising myself that this time it will work. I try to stay away from fad diets...but, I've done everything in the book before...and have had success and failure.
Hope to talk to you all later and meet new friends.

Rep Power: 0 | | Hello and welcome, Sarah I agree with Avi2Kat. You CAN do this! ALso, the old "eat healthy and exercise" is the healthiest way to go - it is not a 'diet' (such a dirty word, don't you think? LOL) but a way of eating that can be carried through you life no matter what age you get to be And suckin' in plenty of water isn't so bad either! LOL
Have a great day/ night! |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hey Sarah! I agree with the rest of these guys, a healthy balanced diet and exercise is definitely the way to go, because when you reach your goal, you don't feel like you have to 'come off' a diet, so this should make it easier to keep the weight off. Also the more exercise you do, the fitter you get, the more you enjoy working out, and the more likely you are to keep it going.
PS - ... and of course exercise can fill up time and stop you getting bored, and from experience it definitely reduces your appetite. Double Whammy! |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Welcome ! Hi Sarah, you came to the right place for support. The best way to loose weight healthy is to set small goals. The weight did not get there overnight and it is not going to come off overnight. I tried fad diets to and felt at it. I gained the weight back and more. So now I am taking it one step at a time. I felt depressed a few days ago, but ever since I joined this site I feel better. There are a lot of supportive people here. My best advice is to drink lots of water and exercise. Good luck! | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
