Rep Power: 0 | | | Hi, I'm new - wanted to share Hi! I'm new here, but have been reading some amazing stories that have given me hope! I'm a mother of 3 in the Air Force and have been struggling with my weight. I saw a pic of myself and finally said I needed to do something about it. I started watching what I eat and also exercising. I absolutely love to run now!! I even bought a bikini this yr!! I haven't worn a bikini since I was 17!! I was pretty stoked about that!
I have lost 20 lbs so far. I'm on hold for the exercise right now. I just had some surgery and can't do anything for 6 wks. I want to, but I don't want to prolong my recovery.
Does anyone know what to do for the abs? My stomach has gone down, but it's not firm. Still got the jiggle stuff going on. I watch my intake and was doing all kinds of different ab exercises. Any input would be appreciated!
I haven't reached my goal weight yet. I hope to make it by Sep/Oct timeframe. We'll see...... SW: 148
CW: 128
GW: 110
I attached some pics. I don't normally do that, but I wanted to share since I read some of your amazing stories.....Thanks!!!! |

I wish you continued success as you reach your (around the corner) goal!!
As for abs - I'm not there yet in my road to my goals, I'm currently only walking, but I'm sure there's tons of info out there for tightening the abs.
There is a woman in the Before And After Forum, I believe her screen name is northernmomof3 (I know that's wrong, but it's the closest my memory comes to it) She posted some truly amazing and inspirational pictures and she swears by the Turbo Jam dvds - you might want to check out her thread.
Good luck and welcome to the forum! |

Yep, I DO swear by Turbo Jam. I'm just hooked. I've seen more toning and definition in my abs since starting the dvds back in April.

Rep Power: 0 | | | Fitness Ball I recommend the fitness ball. I got one at target. You can get one at
wal-mart, Target, Shopko. I think i got mine for about $20.00. I love it. You can feel the pain after the first few crunches. There are instructions in the box with about 20 different excersises. I have seen improvement from it in a short time. I will never stop using mine.
I hope this helps you. Good Luck. |
