I see you all are thinking of being a foursome of buddies. Would you mind if I joined you as well? I'm still figuring this website out so I may miss a few times in the beginning but after this weekend I should catch up. May I please?
I'm a guy looking to lose weight as well. Looking to drop 100 pounds. I'd enjoy joining your list of buddies here.
On the subject, I've been working out on my treadmill 10 times a week (twice a day, Monday-Friday) and lifting weights in the mornings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
As for foods, I've been doing low-fat mostly. Other than that, nothing out of the ordinary. Just eating smaller portions and upping the lean protein.

Lets all start by posting our begining weight, current weight and our goal weight.
Then post want diet or weight program we are all on. That way we have a general idea where everyone is at with their weight and what they are doing.
Floor is open to all for anything they wish to talk about.
And remember motivation, and support is important!!!!

Well, my weight progress is in my sig. My program is this:
Eating: I keep my calories around 2,000. I almost never eat out, and when we do we generally go for sushi anyway. I do have a little treat here and there, because I believe if you totally void yourself of a treat here and there, you are doomed to have your diet collapse. I try to stick to natural, and never eat fried foods. I drink about 88oz. of water a day at LEAST.
Activity: I base my progress on a weekly scale. So, right now I've upped my workout to this; I jog, or briskly walk about 15 to 20 miles a week. 15 if I am feeling worn out or tired. I also do Yoga/Martial Arts, or Tai Chi every morning or night for about a half-hour or so. Also, I've begun weightlifting again, after a year now that my body has recovered from the treatments -IT HURTS SO GOOD . I think I'll do that possibly 2 to 3 times a week to start.
So, so far my total weight loss is *DRUM ROLL* 82lbs.! Not bad, but I've got plenty more to go.

I started my weight program today.... going to try to eat heathly and excerise....for at least 30mins a day 5 times a week!!!
Going to do my weigh ins every Monday
