OK, so this is where I say, "Hi, my name is Monica...and I'm overweight" right? Well, it certainly wouldn't be a lie.
I'm a 22 year old female. I'm about 5'4" (just under) and the last time I weighed in, I was 85kg (187lbs). I have always struggled with my weight, since I was a little girl. At 13, I weighed just about 3lbs more than I weigh now. But through strenuous exercise and drinking about 3-4 gallons of water a night, I lost 60lbs in 3 months. I managed to keep that off for about 3 1/2 years, when I found myself in an abusive relationship at 17. I gained all of my weight back, but when we broke up, lost about 40lbs again. I kept THAT off for about a year, when it started creeping back up on me again. In the past 2 years, I gained it all back, plus about 10lbs more. That brings me up to about 6 months ago. I moved from Houston, TX over to London. When I arrived here, I weighed 200lbs. But now, as I said, I weigh 187lbs.
I'm sure all of this belongs in another thread somewhere, but that's my story! I would like to get down to at least 150lbs. But I think that being part of a community who understands me will help. It's worth a try anyway!
