The amount of
energy it takes one liter of water to change one degree is a calorie. So when you go on a calorie restricted
diet you basically just force your
body to eat off of your
fat stores because it has less food to use as
energy. A carbohydrate is one of the 3 macronutrients your
body needs every day. The other 2 being protein and
fat. If your looking to lose weight then basically you need to burn more
calories in a day than you eat. And if you plan on excercising I would recommend weight lifting AND some sort of
cardio, when mixed together nothing but good can happen
