Wow, I have been looking for a forum that seems real and has people actively posting. Lets start, I am in need of help with weight loss ! I am 20 year old male and weight 375 pounds ... I hate saying that and typing it. I am 6 foot 2. I was just currently released from a Halfway house in Florida for my drug and alchool addiction and living in Ohio now. After talking to many therapists and battling my drug and alchool addiction we have been trying to work on my weight loss. I have to agree with my therapist tho on the fact that part of the reason I got into other things was because of my weight ever since I was little I have always been 'bigger." I have tried alot of diets that have not worked, and if they have it didn't matter because I gained all my weight back. I am tired of feeling like an outcast in society and looking for any help I can get ! So, theres a basic information on me for now, I am off to the doctor because I slipped and fell in the shower 2 days ago and tore something in my back so I cannot even go to work ! Just wanted to say HI to everyone and hope to talk to some people for inspiration and strategys of weight loss.

i have delt with the alcohol issues thru rehab and could have easily fallen into the pain reliever addiction problems if a dear friend would not have stepped in and slapped me upside the head...LOL... it does all in a way relate.. you can stop drinking and doing drugs.. unfortunately.. you can't stop eating.. , hope this site helps.. it has alot of info on it.. and feel free to PM me or contact me on MSN if you have any questions or concerns you would like to chat about "in person" GOOD LUCK

It's easier to type this than to do it, BUT just watch what you eat and drink plenty of water! I had to get the help of a nutritionist that I see every week....keeps me on my toes!
