Rep Power: 0 | | | Hypnosis? I am working on doing a little more exercise, and trying to reduce what I eat, but like many other forum members here, willpower is a problem!
Has anyone tried like these? Do they work? If so, which should I choose? There seem to be as many different weight loss cds as their are diets! I like the sound of this chap's Scottish accent, but what else should I look for in a hypnosis CD?
Has anyone tried a session with a hypnotherapist?
Any advice appreciated!
Jane.

Rep Power: 14 | | | I have not tried it, but I believe it can work merely because of the fact that you are being active in doing something about your weight. If you have a routine of listening to a CD which helps to motivate you and remind you of your goals, it will surely help you to stay on focus.
Willpower is always the biggest hurdle, I think!

Rep Power: 0 | | | My family doctor sent me for some hypnosis sessions through a registered doctor in the field. I went to 4 sessions with him and found it was more like talking to a counsellor than a doctor. I did not find any changes in my eating patterns nor did I experience any weightloss. It was a relaxing experience though. Maybe I'm just not the kind of person it works for but I have heard that others have had the same results. I wouldn't waist money if you are not sure. You should see if your doctor can recommend anyone. Hope this is helpful.
