better late than never

hello everyone.

i am here in need of some serious motivation.

in the past, i've tended to hover around 160, which is *almost* acceptable for my height (5'7'') - but recently i've managed to eat my way to 175, more than i have weighed since high school. what's worse, my expanding thighs and butt recently ripped holes in two pairs of jeans! so i really have no more excuses. i am rapidly running out of pants!

losing 35 pounds by my 25th birthday (in 6 months) was *supposed* to be my new year's resolution - let's just say the first week has not gone well. here's hoping that a little social support will turn out to be just what i need to keep myself on track.

You still have plenty of time, don't let it discourage you.
The toughest thing most people can do is try to change their eating habits in a positive way. Relax, just keep trying; you'll get there, eventually.

Hi & Welcome to the WLF

Your goals are definitely attainable, just take it one day at a time and be focused - I think it's easiest to lapse back into old eating habits when we're not actively paying attention.

Good luck to you
