Newbie here!

Hey everyone!

I came upon this site earlier today, and soon started reading all your posts. Everyone here is so friendly and encouraging!
Well, a little bit about me. I'm a high school senior, soon to be in college. I enjoy reading, singing, and of course, shopping.
In regards to my weight situation, I tend to yoyo (not good).
I'm a tiny person, and currently I weigh my highest ever at a whooping 121 pounds. I've gained 12 pounds over the past four months due to bingeing.
To be honest, I just don't feel confident with all this extra fat hanging off of me. When I was lighter, I not only felt more confident, but I also felt that guys treated me differently. I can't wait to lose this weight. In fact, I need to lose this weight.
I'd like to be thin and pretty before I start college Right now I'm aiming for 100 pounds.

Well, stay strong and take care everyone!!!!

Hi Loseit4good

Welcome to the WLF!

Getting fit and being healthy is so much more then the number on the scale How tall are you? How long has it been since you've weighed 100 pounds?

how tall are you...cuz 121lbs isn't bad really. It's great actually. If you have like a pudge in the tummy area or something maybe you should tone rather than lose weight. 100lbs really isn't healthy for anyone over 5ft.

Hi M2M! Thanks for the quick reply. I'm a shortie at 5'0-5'1. I weighed 100 pounds a little over 3 years ago, but have managed to gain 20 pounds since then

Thanks Jenny! On some of those online calculators that I used, my ideal weight is about 100 lbs. (I'm 5'0-5'1)

That's good to hear. But just keep in mind that 120 really isn't that bad. My mom is 5ft and she is 120ish...she keeps saying that she needs to lose weight but I just think she should tone and firm up her body. But if you feel like your body and health can handle just being 100lbs then go for it...but if not maybe try 110 or something...whatever works best for you and your health is all that matters.

Good Luck!

Jenny

Thanks! And I love your avatar, you're a really pretty gal. Has anyone ever told you that you look like Jennifer Garner?
