Hi - I feel terrible

Hi.. When I was 7 I moved to England and since then my life has just got worse and worse.. I am 15, and I am 6foot 1 and I am 196 lbs.. and I try all the time to lose weight but I just cant..

I barely have friends and I try to change as a person but everything I seem to do does not work..

I know that what I do is wrong, but it is like if i eat then it fills something in me and i become happy.. which is not a feeling that comes naturally to me anymore..

People at school laugh at me and I really would just like to lose weight and be a normal person, and get on with my life...

I'm sorry that people in your school laugh at you... it's their loss... instead of changing as a person, why not accept who you are as a person and let people get to know you...

a lot of people would kill to have your height.. 6'1 is pretty tall - you're lucky...

how much do you think you need to lose?

Hey there, I'm about your age and height (6 ft exactly)

A thing with people these days is that they judge people before they know you, and I am sure that you are better on the inside than you are on the outside, which is a good thing (usually).

I'm not a pretty boy, I get name called "fatty patty, chubby hubby", you name it. I just don't let it get to me.

You could also use those as a motive to loose weight, so next year (2008), you will be the one calling them names!

I think it would be cool to have a weight loss buddy online, so if your up to it, I'd be glad to have you as mine

Hi and welcome to the forum. I spent half of my high school career trying to change who I was so that people would like me better. I have done a lot of growing with in the past year or so. I live life day to day now. I try not to let people get to me. If they don't like me then they don't like me, but if I don't like me then I must change something. Inorder for you to be liked and loved by others you must first love your self. Now I don't love the outer me. But I have come to terms with the inner me. The outter you is just half the battle. Inorder to beat this 100% you need to win over the inner you too. You CAN do this and you WILL DO THIS. Lucky for you, you are tall. Me I'm stuck at 5'2" and I will be 19 next week. The biggest motivation is yourself. You made the biggest step so far which is admitting that you need to change the outter you. Congrats on doing that. Check out the diary/journal section of the forum. You will find a lot of different people who are losing weight.

Hi there,

I would recommend you work out in the gym. the gym really helps with stress. when I or my husband don't get to go we are not as nice of people. Also I think 150 lbs is WAY to LOW for 6'1. Remember High school is just hard and is filled with a bunch of ragging hormonal kids who just want to fit in and look cool.

Just remember, that some of them pick fun because they have miserable home lives and you know what they say...misery loves company. They do their best to pick on the vulnerable. Everyone got picked on in school, everyone was rejected at some point or other, and everyone has felt sad alone and like they had no friends.

The problem is, its not an excuse to be either over weight or to get bad habits. You alone are responsible for yourself, not somebody else. So take control today, dont try and be what others want you to be, be what YOU think you should be.
Dont use other peoples behavior as an excuse to do stupid things like going underweight for your height. Stand tall.

Most modeling agencys will not accept anyone under 5'10 ... so to be 6.1 would be the envy of most model wannabes

ok well im new to this site and i really dont k where to start off i mean im 15 and im 5'4 and weigh 128. I now thta might not sound like much to some but i hate having that little fat when i put on a shirt.when i was younger i was the thin one and now my sister who is 2yrs older lost all of her weight adn is thin.This year when i entered high school i became labled your average freak because i dress in all balck and dont talk much and of corse my sister is the pretty grl wiht all the friends.For once i just want to be able to feel comfortable wiht my self and maybe loose the extra weight on me so i can wear a tight shirt and not feel so big and be more confident.Well if enyone has eny ideas id appreciate it very much.
