Welcome to the club

41 weeks to lose 100lbs is a pretty big order; maybe you should aim for 75. 10lbs in a month is GREAT! thats 2.5lbs a week; you didnt get to where you are today gaining only 2.5lbs a week, dont expect to lose it in that time either. Honestly... you only want to aim for 2lbs or so a week; anything more could be dangerous and you could do one of two things; put your body in starvation mode, where no matter how hard you try you cant pull weight off; or you will fail to train yourself how to maintain your ultimate weight and just end up gaining the weight back.

The best way to lose weight, and the only way I personally support, is to moderate your life. You must know whats going in your body, and whats coming off. Fad diets are for skinny people looking to shed 10lbs for their wedding, after that they gain it right back. When you diet, its a commitment; when you are done you will have a PhD in your body! I suggest researching around a bit; look for information about building a daily plan. The more you log the more you can keep track of what you are doing with your life... its amazing how many little things we miss.

some things to consider
Start a journal on our forums and report as often as you can... we can help and we can motivate!

FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal or Free Diet Plans at SparkPeople and start keeping track of what you are puting in... remember not to undereat!!!!

Good Journey to you!!!!

Hi thanks for the response. I realize it's an unrealistic goal. But I have support and the help to make it happen. I don't like spark people to much, I have already started a journal.I workout 7 nights a week.

However why put a limit on a possibility, that could happen? I will try to lose as much as I can before my bday. I don't want to say I cant do 100, but I want to at least try. Thank you though very much I hope to get some motivation from this fantastic forum.
