newbie looking for advice

Hi everyone. I'm 32 years old, 5'3" and 188 lbs. About a year ago I went and signed up for LA Weight Loss. It cost me over 3 grand. At that point I guess I wasn't totally committed, I found it hard to so in 3 times a week like they want you to and to stick with my menu plan. So I put the account on hold. I started up again about 2 weeks ago. So far I've lost 6 pounds. The thing I am worried about is right now I am taking 2 supplements, a fat-blocker and a metabolism booster, I have about another 5 weeks supply left and I don't want to buy any more as it costs a fortune. And I can't afford to spend any more money, (I've already spent a lot more than I had expected). I'm worried that when the supplements are finished I won't see the same results I have seen in the last 2 weeks. Is there any one who knows about the program, or any one who can give me advise on weight loss supplements. I know the best thing is to lose weight naturally, but I'm the type of person who will give up if I don't see consistant results. My friend is currently taking everslim.

You can have fast healthy results without supplements. You can have fast healthy results without spending a dime. Education is truly key. Work on educating yourself to the proper methods and there is nothing you can't achieve.

I would start here.

thanks

thanks for replying. Yes I guess I should have educated myself a bit more before spending so much money, but now i feel I have to go and stick with the program because i have paid for it. And yes based on what I have learned from them so far, is to manage my portions, and my better choices.

Hi Kallykat- Welcome to the forum. I agree with Leigh P. By finding the right diet (new lifestyle) for you, while keeping up with your excercising, you will see the results as long as you stick to it. These supplements tend to scare me, you never no what it could be doing to your insides. Besides, if you learn to control your body without supplements, it seems it would be easier to maintain that weightloss (in my opinion). Good luck to you.

Welcome to the forums!!!

The best diet is the educated dieter diet!! a true diet is knowing what goes in and what it takes to burn it off. Eating that slice of pizza out of the norm means you must walk that extra 2 miles to burn it off. Pills in general are bad.. they give fake results, and when you are finished what stops you from putting the weight backe on? A smart dieter knows what to do.

Good Journey to you!! (stop spending that money!!! weight loss is free and here the motivation is too).

hello and welcome! i agree with Lollipop Kid.. pills can make u gain weight instead of lose weight.. and there are many undesirable side effects.. so i suggest that u stop taking those pills, even though u have already paid a lot for them.. cos i can't imagine how much harm the pills will cause to u in the long term if u continue taking them for 5 more weeks.. eating healthily and exercising regularly is the best way to lose weight.. all the best to u =D
