Talking Another newbie! :)

Hello everyone!

Hope you're all doin' great cuz I sure am.

Just the other day I found out that my total weight loss to date is 25lbs! I know it isn't much over the course of 13 months, I'm just happy (and proud) that I was able to maintain the weight loss even though I didn't go to the gym for 6 months. I read through the South Beach diet and was able to understand the principle behind it and used that as the basis for the diet i wanted to follow. Now, I don't (as much as possible) eat anything white (from rice to sugar).

For more than a month since I went back to the gym I always put in 67 as the weight on the treadmill. That was my weight when we had our APE 3 months before. I just figured I wasn't losing (and in fact gaining) weight because I didn't exercise anymore, at all. I didn't bother to check my weight when I returned to the gym last January.

Then when I finally stepped on the bathroom scale at the clinic, I got off and on for like 3 times! I just couldn't believe it. I was already at 62! Although I didn't have a date for Valentine's this was so much better and I couldn't get the smile off my face. On my way home I was still trying to contain my happiness for the fear that other people might think I was crazy with that goofy grin.

Anyway, I've already said too much. Just happy to be here and to keep going.
