Has anyone tried "smart ones" I think they are weight watcher brand

Hey guys and ladies. I normally grab up some Lean Cuisine to get a low calorie meal out of the way. I was at the local store and they have smart ones 10 for $10.00 Thats fairly cheap and I was wondering if anyone has tried them.

I used to grab them for lunch occassionally -they are highin sodium but id on't think any worsethan lean cuisine...

had to check some of them - http://www.eatyourbest.com/products/

The pastas were kinda gross- the pasta was just too mushy - I like aldente too much... even the mac and cheese was just bad and I LOOOOOVE mac and cheese.. but it's gotta be stauffers

though the lasagnas were pretty good

The roast turkey was good.... than the lean cuisine- and you seriously can't be
the chicken marsala and tuscan chicken were quite tasty... They didn't have that processed chicken taste
The grilled chickenin herb sauce was good as well
The enchiladas were good - a little bland - but they were good

I also liked the thai chicken with noodles, again, it didn't have enough kick to it for me - but an addition of some thai chili sauce helped a lot

I don't think they were any worse at the price

If you go to the above website, they have 1 dollar off coupon for five of them... (it makes you install cool savings but -- you can always uninstall it when you are done

OK sounds like I might try some. I don't really love the prepackaged meals because I can make better. I just cant do that low on the calorie count.

Weight Watchers: Smart Ones

I'm not on weight watchers, but my friend raves about the smart ones. They were on sale at the grocery store this week, so I picked up a few. I'm having some kind of pasta or something and its about 320 calories & six points. Since I'm not on the plan, is 6 points alot? They didn't have a big selection and I haven't had pasta in awhile, and I figured I test a few out. Would this still be a good choice or should I stick to lower calories? I'm kind watching how many calories I consume, but not really counting. Between breakfast and lunch, I only consume about 300.

300 calories over 2 meals is very low...

how many calories a day are you consuming?

the biggest problem I have with those processed meals -other than the taste I"m a super fussy eater) is the amount of sodium in the meals -it tends to be really high...

I try to eat low in the morning, 'cause I don't really know what my mom's going to make for dinner and I want to save my calories in case I want to have a wine cooler or a glass of wine that night. I have 100 calories snack around three and then I don't eat dinner until about 6:30 or 7:00. I also work at a race track and they have nothing but fried and food that is bad for you, so I try to just have a grilled chicken sandwhich or a chicken ceaser salad on the weekends.

I eat frozen meals a few times a week... usually Amy's - vegetarian and organic. They do have a lot of sodium, but I just make sure that I don't eat packaged food too often and my sodium intake is usually fine. The average calorie count is usually around 300 for those meals, maybe a little less depending on what I get.

I haven't tried Smart Ones, but a lot of people at my workplace eat the Healthy Choice meals. I recently saw that Kashi makes frozen meals too, and I was thinking of trying those.

6 points can be alot depending on the person.. they have this quiz you have to take based on you weight, how active you are, etc. the min points a person is allowed is 18 and the highest is 44 i believe.

i love the lean cuisine meals imo taste better then the smartones (also have pts value on those meals) try the garlic chicken pizza from LC..
